Maine Woods Forever Fall 2020 Round Table

Maine Woods Forever hosted it’s Fall 2020 Virtual Roundtable on October 23, featuring a presentation by John Gunn of the New Hampshire Agricultural Experimental Station on his research findings through a talk entitled “Rehabilitating the Northern Forest for Economic and Climate Benefits.”
Dr. Gunn is a Research Assistant Professor of Forest Management with the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, based in the New Hampshire Agricultural Experimental Station at the University of New Hampshire’s Cooperative Extension in Durham.

Following his presentation special guests Patty Cormier, the Maine State Forester, and Ked Coffin, of Irving Woodlands LLC, discussed his findings and field questions regarding impacts on Maine’s forests and industry.
